Tuesday 5th of May

Good morning! Let’s hope this sunshine is here to stay 😉 On your daily walk today you have a little errand to run, which will turn into something bigger. Keep following the instructions to find out where his is all leading! We are also hoping to have some fabulous structures built by the end of tomorrow and we look forward to posting them on our blog.

Friday 1st of May

Happy 1st of May! Did you know that, in some countries, this day is celebrated as the International Worker’s Day? This year this celebration makes more sense than ever: we are SO grateful to all the key workers who are supporting us in these strange and unsettling times. So thank you NHS staff, thank you shop assistants, thank you carers, thank you postal workers, thank you all!

Today is also our blogger of the week day. Send in a sentence or two reflecting on your week and it will all be compiled and posted on the P4/5 school blog. Please also send in photos of your rockets and your mood monsters to share on the blog.

Thursday 30th of April

Good morning P4/5! A cloudy one, here on the Black Isle. We would love to see -and post on the P4/5 blog- your clever rocket designs. We are hoping that you already have photos for us this morning. The focus today is to complete yesterday’s instructions on how to format a Google Doc and to listen to Fing by David Walliam (we only have until tomorrow to find out how it ends!).

However, before you start your work this morning, have a look at the general blog. There is a message to you from all of us: “You’ve got a friend in us!” 😊 Some of you might even recognise the teddy that I’m holding! 😉

Wednesday 29th of April

A very well-done to all the P4/5 who rose to the challenge of creating Google Docs writing! You are getting prepared for moving up in primary school and for when you join the Academy. 😊 For today we have planned a range of activities from relaxing while listening to calming music (and watching adorable animals, if that helps you switch off your mind), to listening to a David Walliams book (in his own voice!!), to shooting down the threat of space invaders in Numeracy. Have fun!

Tuesday 28th of April

Well-done to everybody who posted work yesterday. It was lovely to hear about your weekends and how positive you are about it. We hope that you are enjoying finding out more about spaceships. Today you will design and build your own rocket… and then fly it! Looking forward to see what wonderful -and functional!- designs you will create!

Monday 27th April

Happy Monday, P4/5! The weather over the weekend wasn’t as good as during the week but there were still lovely spells of sunshine and warmth. I hope that you all enjoyed being outside with your family. The staff in Milton primary school are really excited about the Googlemeets starting this week, so fingers crossed that we will be able to see all your lovely faces and that you get a chance to catch up with your friends online. Please do get in touch if you don’t know your details or ave any questions on how to go onto Googlemeet. We’ll do our best to help.
