Monday 8th of June

‘My life after lockdown’ jar: each school day in June add a little paper note with something that you would really like to do when we have a bit more freedom. Have a look on the school’s website for our ideas!

A reminder to all P4/5 that we are expecting photos to show us how you are getting on with the Health and Wellbeing challenges set for June. See our timetable or https://miltonprimaryschool.wordpress.com/milton-blog/

Wednesday 3rd of June

Dance with Amy at 9.30am, be there! Even if you are slightly late, you can still join in. This week we are again looking for bloggers. John and Noah did a fantastic job last week, we look forward to seeing some of your work too! And to top up the perfect day, we have origami. We can’t wait to see the cute animals that you will be creating out of paper!

A reminder that the group chatwithmsnimmons has their Googlemeet today at 11.30am.

Work to be proud of

Here are some examples of the great work that P4/5 have been doing. Our class novel is Crash Landing: Hyperspace High, an adventure in space, and we used it as inspiration to create our own aliens and planets. We have also been making the best of this great weather, going for walks on the beach, in the woods or around Milton.

Please keep sending in your photos; we want to show everyone how hard you are working and how good you are!

Bloggers of the week

Our bloggers of the week were Noah and John:

“My learning week: This week I have been enjoying all of my video calls. I do a judo video call on a Saturday where I see my friends from judo that I have been missing, and I get to see my teacher and practice some judo with Alex. I also enjoyed working on Sumdog and listening to the audiobooks.” by Noah

“I enjoyed doing the Sumdog challenge and all the coins you get after you finish it but I would like to play the maths invaders game again. I enjoyed playing the kid word search. Maybe we could do a complete work outdoors day.
I really enjoyed the Nasa tours, maybe we could do more tours of different places like zoos, museums and id really like to see the statue of liberty in America.
This week at home we are learning as a family how to grow fruit and vegetables. So far we have planted strawberries, tomatoes, peas, corn on the cobs, lettuce, chillies, radish, potatoes, carrots, courgettes, onions, garlic, raspberries, flowers and herbs. We are growing them in our poly tunnel.” by John
